The Heart Walk is a collaborated event organized by the UTSA Wellness Committee and the State Employee Charitable (SECC) Committee and is open to all faculty, staff, and students in observance of National Walking Day. Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to participate in this healthy activity which is not only a key SECC fundraising event but also a “fitness-raising” event! National Walking Day is not only about fighting heart disease and stroke, but also about having fun and creating camaraderie! It’s a great way to raise money for the SECC campaign, while getting some exercise at the same time!
